Login to Mac app using Microsoft credentials?

Created account on Trello.com and selected "Login with Microsoft account", which it turns out creates an Atlassian account. Ok.

Just found out there is a Mac desktop app; downloaded it but can't figure out how to login! Used my MS email, it recognized that it was an Atlassian account, but...what's the password?? I tried putting in my MS password, but no go.

Same issue on my iOS app on iPadOS.

Hi Jacques,

Right now the Trello desktop app doesn't support Logging in with a Microsoft account so in order to log in with your Atlassian account, you'll first need to reset the password on it via https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword.

This will set a password on your Atlassian account and you'll be able to use it to log in on the desktop app.

Could you give it a try and let me know if you're still unable to log in?

Hi Manu,

No, that didn't  work, as the reset asks me for my previous password, and I had none! I tried my Microsoft Account password, but that didn't work.

I ended up using another email address and created a whole new account on Trello, then recreating my board.

But it seems to me that's an issue for your product managers to work on!
