Hello,
I can't seem to login into the Trello Mac App from the Mac app store. I type my email in, and then hit the "Sign in with Passkey" option, which is what I assume I should use after using Apple SSO on the web. All that happens is the spinner comes up for a minutes, and then just fails silently
Hi Jozero, welcome to the Atlassian Community!
After some testing on our end, we were able to reproduce what you're seeing and have now opened up a new bug report that you can find right here: TRELLO-697
As of right now, I don't have an ETA on when this fix will be released, as it depends on various factors such as the team’s backlog and the complexity of the bug itself. That being said, with the link I sent above, you should be able to watch this issue by clicking on Start watching this issue.
A minor bug? It is impossible to use the product and you consider this a minor bug? Is it a joke? What is a major bug in your workflow ?
I don't have an account via Apple but by e-mail, and I encounter the same problem because my account is configured to use two-factor authentication, I am forced to deactivate it to be able to use the desktop application. A peak! A big security problem, and you consider it minor!?
Already several months that it lasts, for an Atlassian product, it is absolutely not serious.

Hi @Mehdi C_!
While discussing this issue with the product team, they informed us that although the passkey option is available on the Apple login screen, the Trello desktop app has never supported logging in with a passkey. We have created a new feature suggestion to add this capability, which you can view and vote on here: TRELLO-919
As a workaround, you can log in to your account with a passkey using the web version of Trello. I understand that this isn't ideal, but it is currently the only available option.
