Locked out as I changed my phone and enabled 2FA

Numa Jequier May 24, 2019

I enabled Two factor Authentication with Google Authenticator used for generating Trello Passcode.
I had to purchase a new smartphone. I was thinking Google Authenticator would display earlier registered Trello Account for passcode but I do not have anymore my Trello account displayed on Google Authenticator.
Now, since I have 2 factor enabled for my Trello account, I am locked out as after login password, Trello asks for 2 factor code after login and password but since I cannot provide any I cannot go further.
Plus, I do not have acces to backup codes.

Is there any way I can for a scan QR Code or Provider key for my Trello account to add to Google Authenticator ?
If not how can I connect ?

Hi @Numa Jequier I would recommend contacting support@trello.com for this question to see if there is anything they can do to reset your password to override the google authenticator. Let me know if this helps.

Hi @Numa Jequier has this been resolved for you?

Numa Jequier June 6, 2019

Hi @Jodi LeBlanc , thank you very much for your help, Trello support helped me this way :

"If you no longer have access to your backup codes, there may still be another way. If your company is using Google for your email, it's possible that you might be able to use the "Log in with Google" button to bypass Trello's 2FA in favor of Google's authentication. If you've ever used that function before, that will work and let you into your account, where you can change the 2FA settings. If you've never logged in that way, though, you won't be able to without confirming the 2FA token."

The case is closed !
