Hi everyone,
I urgently need help regaining access to my Trello account, but I’ve hit a wall with support.
Here’s the situation:
The email address associated with my Trello account has been permanently closed for several years.
Because of this, I can’t reset my password or receive any recovery emails. At the time, I forgot to update the email on file.
I’ve reached out to advocates@atlassian.com and info@e.atlassian.com more than a week ago, but I’ve received no response at all.
It’s incredibly frustrating that Atlassian offers no real support option for such a critical account access issue. I need the email on file updated so I can log back in and regain access to my board.
Has anyone here experienced something similar or found a way to get through to Atlassian for this type of problem?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
— Andrew
Hi @Andrew Jenkins ,
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing with accessing your Trello account. Unfortunately, support cannot change the email address associated with an account for security reasons.
If you're logged in on a mobile device or another device:
Create a New Trello Account: Use an email address that you currently have access to.
Add Your New Account as Admin: On your mobile or the device where you're logged in, add your new account as an admin to all of your Trello boards. This way, you'll be able to access those boards even if you're unable to log in to your original account in the future.
For more detailed guidance, you can refer to Trello's support documentation on recovering your Trello account.
