Library of Trello Card templates

I need to create “hundreds” of Trello Card templates which will contain links, checklists, documents, etc. Each card represents a unique activity. Is there a way to allow a user to select from a library of cards related to a project and import into Trello?

@Rene LeBrun Further to what @Mirek said, if you add the library board to a team, then make the board team viewable, but disable allowing members to edit and join in the board settings:

then any team members will be able to see the board, and will be able to copy cards from that board into their own boards, but won't be able to edit the library board unless they have been invited to that board by an admin.

Yes, you can have one "library" board with cards and those cared could be copied over to different Boards. See below for how to do it
