I use Trello concurrently on both my phone and on my laptop, depending on where I am. I make use of filtering by completed vs. uncompleted items in the list I'm working from. It's a daily routine, so I appreciate that the items don't just get deleted. I uncheck each card in this list every morning. (It's a little tedious, so I would love an "uncheck all cards in this list" button. My husband wants this feature also. We'd love an "uncheck all" for checklists within a card as well.)
But what I'm actually writing about is a bug I've noticed. I keep the list - the same list - filtered by incomplete items - on both my laptop and my phone so that I can go back and forth seamlessly. However, when I MOVE a card up one notch - it's pretty much a single card that I move to keep track of how far down the list I've gotten, since I can't always uncheck each item in order from top to bottom. When I MOVE the card on my PHONE, the order of the nearby card gets messed up a bit, and I have to move the messed up card back to the correct spot. Every single time. However, when I move the card on my LAPTOP, this does not occur.
Hi Marlene,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! 🙂
I've tried reproducing the issue you're describing (on an iPhone, though), but card positions don't get messed up if I move any card around on my phone (with filters applied or without). So we might need a little more information here before we can troubleshoot this further or report this as a bug to our development team.
I've submitted a Support ticket on your behalf. We'll get in touch shortly and will probably ask you to share a video of the issue to help us figure out the reproducing steps. You can access the ticket here: https://support.atlassian.com/requests/TRELLO-219335
As for your comments about the ability to uncheck all checklist items, I can suggest using a card button Automation. Have you tried card buttons before? I've created this test automation in my account, and it worked out perfectly:
uncheck all the items in checklist "{checklistname}" on the card
To address your inquiry about marking all cards as complete/incomplete in a list, I've submitted a new feature request for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1424
You can visit this suggestion, log in with your Atlassian account, and click Start watching this issue on the right panel. This will help our product and engineering team understand more about which functionalities our users are interested in. Also, when the ticket is updated by our product team, you'll be notified via email.
We'll be in touch shortly again! 🙂
