Is there a way to deactivate pagination in the trello calendar?

In monthly view the calendar seem to jump form month to month (i.e. paginated) instead of scrolling seamlessly like it used to be and which was much more practical for my use. Is there a way to change this setting?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I agree, I miss being able to seamlessly scroll. I move my tasks around a lot, and now I can no longer easily move them to another month. I also find it annoying that I have to scroll very carefully to the end of the month, or it will jump to the next month.

Yes, I noticed that too - it's a dexterity game where I don't want one, really. ;-)

Note for Atlassian Team: A comment posted on work-item TRELLO-1602 may be related, though the issue described in the work-item seems a bit different.

Note for anyone else who wants to support this suggestion: Please like the post that @Chris has made here to show your support for this. The Atlassian Team may choose to prioritize an issue based on larger amounts of feedback.

I looked through the open suggestions for Trello and did not find an exact match for this issue, open or closed.

I also did not see a way to change this behavior.

I also find this to be a generally relevant, specifically described, helpful, and simple suggestion.

As such, I am getting the attention of an Atlassian Team Member to review this post and consider adding this as a feature suggestion if it there is indeed no workaround.

Please note: due to the volume of submissions, feature suggestions are not guaranteed to be implemented, nor is there a timeframe. That being said, the Atlassian Team takes feedback seriously, and your contribution helps make Trello better.

Thank you!

Thank you for looking into this.

In the meantime I noticed, that the total number of cards for a certain date isn't shown anymore, either (just the number of non-visible cards, which is just confusing and no useful info at all). Everything used to work perfectly in a more recent version of trello. So, a rollback (at least as an option) seems to be the perfect solution to me.

The situation is still the same after a couple of weeks. Any News on this?

@Chris

@Nicole

This request was added back in November as an official Bug in Trello as TRELLO-1631 and was last updated on January 19th, indicating there is, at the very least, active discussion on the topic within the Atlassian Team. It remains in the unresolved state.

As the details of the discussion are not publicly accessible, I am unable to confirm if or when a resolution is to be expected.

Again, what we know for a fact is:

  • Your request made it into the official list of Bugs for Trello in November 2025.
  • It remains in the bug list as of January 23rd 2026.
  • The bug has not been closed, indicating it has not been resolved but also hasn't been dismissed.
  • There has been activity on the bug listing as recent as January 19th 2026.
  • Recent activity on the bug is a good indicator that Atlassian is at least discussing it, if not actively working on it, but I am unable to see exactly what the activity is. We know it hasn't been collecting dust, though!
  • Someone with more advanced credentials than me actually commented and voted for the issue, agreeing with your sentiment.

These are all very good signs as far as reports go. Bear in mind that Atlassian will try to resolve every bug they can, but they also have to prioritize some bugs over others, so exact resolution times aren't known.

Thank you for the excellent suggestion! Here's hoping we see a quick resolution from here!
