Is there a way to back up your Trello board including the comments?

I need to back up a board including the comment section.  Any way to do this?

Yes, but only partly on the Free plan.

The native option is JSON export, and that does include comments. The limitation is that a board export only includes the 1000 most recent actions, so older comments may not be there. Comments are also not included in CSV.

If you need the full comment history natively, that is the Workspace export option, which is tied to Premium.
