Is Trello supposed to create multiple cards when email to board includes embedded images?

When I email a new card to my Trello board and embedded images are included in the email, Trello will create duplicate cards (as many duplicates as there are embedded images). Is this an expected functionality? I would like to not create those duplicates, if possible.

Thanks! I did so and was informed that it's a known issue with enterprise board attachment restrictions. There's a fix on the way, but no ETA as of now.
