I*'ve received an email telling me I need to confirm my email address for Trello.  In doing that  the system that I've got an Atlassian account, and rather than allowing me into Trello says I need to log into Atlassian and link the Trello account.  So I logged into Atlassian following the link provided.  I can't find anything which tells me how to link these accounts, so I continue without them being linked.  This raises risks.  Can you please tell me how to link accounts so the data is protected and available to me?  Thank you.

the process should just guide you through things pretty easily but there's obviously something going awry for you.
