One of my rituals with my team is creating minutes of our weekly meetings in a specific format, in a specific list. Each meeting is a new card, created from a templated, with a standardized description.

This description includes both a "what was done" section and "what we are doing this week", where we link other cards in the same and in another board, so it's documented which cards we took on or are undertaking next.

I wanted to create an automation where whenever we link a certain card (a task) in the description of these cards (the minutes), it would automatically be linked to the card as a Trello Attachment. This is useful because we can quickly see on the preview for each week's card how many tasks were taken on.

I can't seem to make this work and my best guess so far would be this:

When the description of a card in list "Weekly" contains "{triggersourcecardlink}", add link "{mentionbacklink}".

Can someone please help me? Thanks! :)

@Leonardo Ritschel

It is probably easier to automate cardlinks in checklist to relate cards instead.

When you add a cardlink in description, the trigger card is where you edited description. But if say it contains https://trello.com/c/{*} it will not work if someone copy and paste the entire string from the browser instead of using alt-c while hovering over the card. Lastly, have not seen {mentionbacklink} before.
