It is my board and I am the administrator, this is happening on all the cards in my board. I have cleared all browsing history and restarted my machine. The "comments and activities" box is showing but as soon as I click in it to write a comment the box disappears and is replaced by a greyed out save button.
Everything was working fine prior to the Christmas break but I came back to work on Monday when I first noticed this issue and have had it ever since.
I am using Edge (can't use any other browser as laptop belongs to my employer and is locked down/restricted).
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Just to follow up on this - today it's not working at all and I cannot update any of my cards in the board. I would be very grateful if you could raise a support ticket please.
Hi @Rachel Copeland ,Welcome to the community!
I’ve taken a look at your account and see that you currently have just one open board, which is not a template board. You should be able to add comments to the cards without any issues.
Could you please check the following for me?
Are other board members experiencing the same issue?
If you create a new test board, are you able to add comments on cards there?
Your feedback on these points will help us narrow down the cause of the problem.
Looking forward to your response!
Thanks,
Sakshi

Hi,
Thank you for responding. I have done a test with other people and the answers are as follows:
1. Other board members are not experiencing the same issue
2. If I create a new board, I cannot add comments on there either

Could you please try disabling the extensions on your browser and then check if the issue still persists?
Sometimes, browser extensions can interfere with Trello’s functionality, so testing with all extensions turned off can help us identify if they’re contributing to the problem.

Hi,
I disabled extensions and it started working for a few days but now it has reverted back. I have checked my extensions again but there are none active. Do you have any other suggestions as to what this could be?
Strange that disabling extensions worked for a short period of time but now the error has re-appeared.

Thank you, Rachel! Do you know which extension you disabled? Was there a specific one, or did you disable all of them?
Thank you !

I'm afraid I don't know what the extension was that I removed. There was only one extension which I removed and I have checked again since the problem re-occurred and I still have no installed extensions.

Hi Rachel, good day!
Could you please check now and let me know if the issue still persists? If it does, I’ll go ahead and raise a support ticket so I can request logs from your end. Due to PII concerns, it would be best to investigate this matter through a support ticket.
I look forward to your response!
Thank you !

It seems to be quite sporadic. I've had a few days where it was working fine and then it happened again this morning. However, when I refreshed with CTRL+F5 it started working normally again today (this has never worked previously but it did for some reason today)
