I am not receiving notifications when a new card is created.

I have a couple of lists on a board in Trello.  I have it set up to repeat to create a card in the list (either weekly or monthly depending on the task).  I also have an automation set up to add myself to the card when it is created.

I want to be notified when the card is created so it reminds me to go out and complete the task.  

I am watching the list and the card but I am not receiving any notifications on it. How do I correct this so I start receiving notifications?

Hi Jennifer, welcome to the community.

Trello notifications work when someone else do an action in a list or card you are watching. You won't get a notification when you do the actions (including cards being repeated that you setup).

As an alternative, you could create an automation to send you an email when a card is created in the list.

Something like: "when a card is added to list XXXX, send an email notification to....
