I haven't logged into Trello for a long time. My Workspaces and Boards are attached to an account with an email address I no longer own. The domain I had my email with I cancelled.
How can I access the account to reset the log in details?
Thank you
Hi @Amanda Law ,
This would probably be a question for the official support team, but I believe that, unfortunately, they won't be able to recover your Trello account or change the email address for you. 🫤
For security reasons, ways to verify account ownership (usually) are:
You can log in with your existing password and email.
You can receive a password reset email at the registered address.
Here are a couple of links on this topic:
Now this might be a specific case, so I'll ask someone from Atlassian to chime in and confirm this (or potentially create a support request), but you might need to prove that you were the owner of the mentioned account/previous email address. 👀
Cheers,
Tobi

@Amanda Law There are some limitations when it comes to accessing an account if you no longer have access to the email inbox associated with the account. Your best bet is to reclaim your account by temporarily activating your old email address. Once your old email address is activated, you can recover your password at https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword.
You might also check if you’re still logged in to the account on one of your devices (for example, on your mobile phone) so that you can share access to your boards with your new email address.
Alternatively, you can feel free to create a new Trello account at any time. Many users maintain multiple accounts for work and personal use. If there were other members on your boards, you can reach out to them and ask them to add your new account to those boards.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
