How to send an email from the Trello?

I created cards for each customer, and I would like to automate sending them emails. Such as say "payment reminder".

What would be the way to automate it? I keep reading about "Butler", but when looking in power-ups, it's not coming up. And would there be a specific field to keep client's emails? Or each card needs to have email programmed in custom button or something like that?

is that the one which now called "SendBoard? I installed it with your link, but not sure if that will solve what I'm trying to do. Here is what I have:

- Board has cards with customer's info (storage rentals)

- I'm setting up "due dates" one day past payment due 

- When receiving payments - I'm posting a comment and rescheduling due date for the next month reminder

- So ideas is - if payment is past due - send an email to client with the reminder. 

I was thinking about adding a custom button "Send payment reminder" and link an email template. Challenge is - to pull name of the person and their email from the card, and link email template. So each each card email corresponds to the specific person.

This can be done with Email for Trello (Sendboard)

You could either have a button or trigger the automated email from the due date and it can automatically send your payment reminder email...

I used Contalist for my subscriptions. It has an automation by due date. They have recently enhanced it at my request to have a list criterion added. It allows you to use card variables and custom fields in your email template. So effectively you have a contact database as well as simple messaging via email or SMS with Twilio.

There several email power ups available but Trello automation has an email action you can use. Butler or now known as “Automation” is the ⚡️icon
