How to prevent pictures and links in email signatures from creating attachments on cards?

All of my Team's users email cards to boards regularly. Every time they do, every picture and link in the email signature appears as a new attachment in the card creating 3-5 unnecessary attachments. This often obscures the legitimate attachments we wanted to share on the card. Is there a way to prevent anything in an email signature being added as an attachment?

@Caroline Lea unfortunately not :( I created Benko Board which integrates Gmail with Trello:

The challenge of removing crappy small signature graphics was pretty significant. We use Google Drive to estimate which images are signature graphics based on size and name but it's really tricky.

It's something that you could do using the API. For example, a second integration library I wrote Trellinator:

Would allow you to detect when a card was emailed to the board and use similar logic to detect small graphics, then bundle them into a Google Drive folder and link them all to the card and call them something like "Signature Graphics". This would mean you could still access them easily in the case of false positives.

But it's pretty tricky ...
