I found a similar question that wasn't answered effectively from 2023 and the person was told to submit a ticket. I can't seem to actually get to a location where I can submit a ticket. When I try to submit a ticket request for Trello I just keep getting looped to two options, ask a question here or look at documentation. I have two boards that a previous employee created who is no longer here and I'd like to delete them. I can't find a way to do that and I can't find a way to submit a ticket to request that Trello do that. Help.
Never mind, I figured it out on my own.
For others that it might help here are the steps:
The steps below work as long as you're an Admin of the workspace.
Go to the Workspace page > Members and remove the former employee from the workspace.
Then go to each of the boards they created and close the board (Expand the right-hand menu, scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu and click Close board).
Note: If there are multiple team members included on a board, you may have to remove them from the board first in order to close it. Also, if you're not set up as a member of the board, you'll have to join the board first to close it.
Once the board is closed, navigate back to your Workspace > Boards section and expand the Closed Boards section at the bottom. You can delete the now-closed boards from there.
