How to cancel a BlueJeans meeting when delete Power -Up

KMcMillan May 3, 2020

Hello. Hope this message finds you safe and well at this time

I deleted/disabled the BlueJeans Power-up, but the BlueJeanns meeting did not cancel.
BlueJeans instructs me to return to Trello to edit or delete the meeting.

Suggestions to delete the BlueJeans meeting anyone? (it uses my Personal Meeting Info).

Thank you.

Hi!

Just curious, did you disabled or removed?

if you disabled, can you enable, then cancel meeting?

Hello Gonchik.

Thanks for taking a moment to reply.

I tried several options, several times, closing and refreshing the pages & app:

  • disabled
  • removed
  • enabled and did not see an option to cancel (in Trello or BlueJeans).
    • Trello does not offer specific meetings but the option to start a BlueJeans meeting on the fly, using my personal identification code.
    • BlueJeans send me back to Trello to manage the meeting option.

I hope that makes sense and answers your questions.

Karen

Hello @KMcMillan ,

yeah, you provide all info.

Let's start from bluejeans level: we need to cancel the meetings

https://support.bluejeans.com/s/article/How-to-cancel-a-scheduled-meeting

next on Trello side, looks like only manually or through rest api remove those meetings.

Hi again, Gonchik,

Thanks for the link to BlueJeans support. I'm new and much to learn. Unfortunately, neither those instructions nor the Trello-created meetings offer the option to cancel. I finally did live chat, then a screen share with tech support who confirmed the options. I am also not familiar with the Trello api options or how to manage.

The final decision was to escalate the issue and have BlueJeans tech support to remove the meetings. They did so.

The BlueJeans tech rep was curious and said she would also spend time to further investigate the Trello-BlueJeans integration for future use (even asked if there was a free version she could try)
