How to avoid that adding labels automatically colors my cards?

When I add a label to my card, the card is automatically colored. Adding a green label colors the card a pastel green. However, I would like my cards to remain white.

Is there a way to do that?

So far, I have looked through all the card options and the menu. It doesn't seem to be an option I have activated; I cannot find a place to deactivate it.

ETA: I do not have plus.

Hi @Maria Gjerløff

Welcome to the Community! It's great to have you here!

This isn't something that Trello actually does, so I suspect you have a Chrome extension that's doing this for you.

Trello doesn't have the ability to make cards the same colour as the labels natively, so I have a sneaking suspicion that a Chrome extension that you've got is doing this in the background. Maybe something like Pro for Trello or something similar.

If you use the native Mac/Windows/Android or iOS apps, you shouldn't see the card colours change - if you don't, then it's definitely a Chrome extension!

If you have a look at all the Chrome extensions you have enabled, and see which one had card colours from labels, you should be able to turn it off!

Please let us know if that's helpful!

Esme :)

Thank you, I will have a look. I have only one extension, but that could very well be doing it.

Can you change the colour of a whole card natively in Trello @Jack Brickey? I didn't think you could!

EDIT: of course you can, what was I thinking?! I'm getting confused because it's not card colours, it's covers!
