How do I keep people I invite from being able to edit the boards/cards I create?

I am wanting to use Trello for on-boarding new staff. I have sent the board to a coworker as a test and she is able to edit the cards. How can I keep people from being able to edit? Thanks!

If you have a paid Trello account, you can add people as observers (i.e. they can't edit).
