Hi there!

My job is trying to automate as much as possible to keep us organized.

Basically, we have four boards set up that span our entire workflow. It will go Event Created -> Graphics Card Made -> New Card for External and Internal Tactics Created -> New Card is Added to Social Calendar

I have figured out how to set a linked card between two boards for that transparency of one project. However, I am trying to figure out how I can set the due date on the Graphics card and trigger a due date being set on a card in the Tactics.

I have tried the concept of when a due date is set, it finds the first linked card and sets the due date. Yet it doesn't transfer over to the linked card.

Any help would be much appreciated!

In Trello, the native Butler automation has a known limitation that prevents automatically syncing a due date to a linked card with a simple, one-step rule. To achieve this, you need to use a multi-step automation or a third-party Power-Up designed for cross-board syncing.

There are two possible solutions.

1. You can use a custom field and a multi-step Butler rule.

2. Add a 3rd party Power Up like "Cardsync for Teams" or "Unito" to all the Trello boards you need to sync.
