How do I adjust the spacing between a new line?

Hi! I am wondering how I can adjust the spacing between each line on my Trello card. Right now when I click enter a larger line space is being created, but I'd like it to be shorter. Attached below are how I want it to look and how it actually looks: (see image 1 for how it should look and image 2 for how it actually looks)

It is relatively easy. Double line is by default when you hit Enter but if you want to have a single line hit Shift + Enter

Is there a setting for the text editor to default to the normal way, a single spaced line, when pressing return/enter?

When copy/pasting information in and out (especially out) of Trello it is very tedious to keep removing the spacing.

Within Trello I can deal with it but I don't prefer it because the text takes up more space so you need to scroll more. But when copying text out of Trello and into an email or elsewhere, I waste time deleting spaces between all the lines.
