When I try to log in to the Trello app (2.15.13) on my MacBook Air 2022 (Sonoma 14.6.1), I enter my email and password. Then on the next screen it tells me to use my security key. I click "Log in" and get a spinning circle for a couple minutes. Nothing else happens. There is no request for the security key or anything else. Then it tells me I didn't complete the authentication process and try again. This happens every time. I have gone ahead to use my emergency key, but this seems unnecessary and unsustainable. I could turn off two-level authentication, but why should I make my account vulnerable because of an error in the software? When I log in on the website, I do not have this problem as it asks for my security key. Same on the iPad app. It's just the laptop app. I have talked with the AI helper, rebooted the computer, reinstalled the app, reset local data, and I don't have other security software running, so I have done all the things.
This is a known issue. You could use an authenticator app as an alternative https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-634
Okay, thanks for that. Is there a plan to fix this issue?
