How can I have both my Trello and Loom accounts under one email address without losing any data?

I've posted something similar before, but nothing seemed to work. I have my Trello account set up with one email address and my Loom account set up with another email address. 

I never saw this as an issue, but when Loom became part of Atlassian, I now have TWO Atlassian accounts. 

The email address I want to KEEP associated with my Atlassian account is the one connected to Loom. Can anyone give me a clear step by step?

I have most of my video content in Loom and use Trello with clients so I definitely want to make sure I don't lose anything!

Hello and Welcome @Chelene Knight 

Be careful not to delete either account yet. Because an email address can only belong to one Atlassian account at a time, you won't be able to simply change your Trello email to the one Loom is already using.

The safest route is to log into Trello with your old email and invite your preferred Loom email to the workspace and all your important boards. Make sure to grant the new account admin rights, then log in with it to verify you can see all your clients, cards, and automations.

Loom has its own separate account merge flow, so this is really about consolidating access. If your Trello workspace is Premium or contains critical client work, it is best to check with Atlassian Support before making final changes.

Thank you. I like the idea of adding my other email address as a "member" and then logging in with that email. But I think there would be an additional fee to add a member. I'm on Premium.It's frustrating because I can't be logged into Loom and Trello at the same time unless Loom is in an incognito window.  I've not been able to contact support. In order to do so, I need a URL but can't seem to find the right one they need.

The good news is that you can definitely consolidate these without paying for an extra seat.

In Trello, paid Workspace seats are transferable. This means that when you remove a member from your Workspace, that seat becomes available to reassign to someone else at no extra cost until the end of your current billing period.

Here’s a step-by-step to get your Loom email address set up as the primary account for your Trello Workspace:

  1. Invite your Loom account: Log into Trello with your current account and invite your Loom email address to your Workspace and boards.

  2. Grant Admin rights: Once the Loom account has joined, make sure to set it as a Workspace Admin and a Board Admin on all relevant boards. This ensures you don't lose control of your data.

  3. Remove the old account: Once you've verified that you can access everything from your Loom-linked account, you can remove your old email address from the Workspace. This effectively "transfers" the paid seat to your Loom account.
