We have Trello Business Class, and I am using the Trello Add-on to G Suite. I am able to send emails to Trello to create cards, but it doesn't include attachments. Is this possible to do using the Trello Add-on? If so, how do I set this up? Thank you.
The gmail add-on doesn't create attachments on the card by default.
When you click the trello to gmail card icon form an email message, the box that appears lists the attachments at the bottom of the box. You can manually tick the attachments you want included in the new card.
Another workaround we've been able to use is to create the card manually, copy the email address for the card (share icon on bottom right of the card) and then forward the email in gmail to the card. This is useful if there are many attachments or if you want to add the email to an existing card with other information already in the card.
Hi Mark, thank you for your answer, but I do not see a box listing attachments at the bottom of the email. Do I perhaps need to enable some extra functionality? Here is what I see:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
This appears to be a different trello add-on from the one I am familiar with. Here's mine:
Perhaps try that one or the one suggested by @Ian Dooley?

Hi Mark, that seems to be working - it seems strange that the Trello Add-on for Gmail doesn't have this functionality, it is really useful and efficient.

Hi @Nellorie Iceton @Mark Warburton
You can use Hipporello for this purpose. With Hipporello you can create cards for your emails and also forms. Hipporello lets you define inbound email addresses. You can forward any emails to one of these emails and Hipporello will convert them to Trello cards. Moreover, you can add an automation rule, send a reply email automatically when the created is created on Trello board. In order to further communicate, you don't need to open your email inbox. You can reply directly from Trello card.
Hipporello also enables you to define forms and get user requests via forms and create Trello cards for each submission. As a result, you can collect all requests via forms and emails to Trello board and manage them collaboratively.
Hipporello is built for Trello users. It natively integrates with Trello.

@Nellorie Iceton @Mark Warburton you might be interested in my product BenkoBoard which lets you use Trello as a gmail client, including importing attachments and linking a gmail conversation thread to a card for all replies and so on:
There's also BenkoDesk which is the same thing but for shared/team emails:
