How can I delay submission of cards for a project ?

I have been invited to contribute edits and suggestions to a lengthy document. Each needs to be on a separate card. There are a number of good reasons to submit all of these cards to the team at one time. How can I do this rather than adding them one at a time to the team board. Thanks!

You could have a board where you're dealing with all the "edits" cards, and use an automation button to move all of them to the team board, like below:
