How can I change my settings so that cards marked complete are not automatically archived?

When I check a card complete it is automatically archived. Instead, I want it to move to the Completed Requests list and show the Completed checkmark, then to manually archive it later. It appears this has to be set up manually, and is not the default. So I'm struggling to find how to "undo" this setting; no Automations are currently set up.

Thought I solved it, I did not. I set up a Rule to move the card to the list I want upon marking it complete AND to "unarchive the card." However, now when I mark a card complete, it goes to that list for a second then disappears (as it is archived). No automations have been set up to enable this, can't figure out why/how it's happening. Would appreciate any help. New to trello so may be overlooking a simple solution...
