It can be alarming to log into your Trello account and find that your boards are missing. Fortunately, in many cases, they can be recovered. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you find and restore your lost Trello boards.

Check for Closed Boards

The most common reason for "missing" boards is that they have been closed rather than permanently deleted. Trello allows you to reopen closed boards easily.

How to find and reopen a closed board:

  1. Log in to your Trello account on the Trello website. The "closed boards" view is not available in the mobile app.

  2. From your main Trello dashboard (usually accessible by clicking the Trello logo in the top-left corner), navigate to the workspace that contained your missing board.

  3. At the top of the workspace view, click on "View all closed boards".

  4. This will display a list of all the boards that have been closed within that workspace.

  5. Locate the board you wish to restore and click the "Reopen" button next to it.
