I am on a swat team and we use Trello for sending out training and call outs so we know who's coming or not. The issue I am having is that since May 1 2019 you can only have 10 boards on Trello. My other issue is guys come and go. Some of these guys that left had created cards and are not around to close them or we dont know who created a boards so we cant have them close it. So my questions are, can an administrator close these boards? Is there a way to find out who created the board and how do you become an administrator. We are way over 10 and we are trying to just close all of the boards and then keep what we need. We use Trello for everything. We are a regional team and they will not pay for the business Trello. Heres my email. SHODSON329@YAHOO.COM Any help would be greatly appreciated

@Scott Hodson You can't become an admin of a board someone else created, but you can leave the board. You can also move all lists from the board, which manages any issues you have around confidentiality.
I would, however, suggest that you'd be well placed to get your management to pay for the enterprise version of Trello, because without it you're taking huge privacy risks. You need to be enforcing 2 factor authentication, you need to be able to protect against the risk of someone on the team's email being hacked etc.
Like, for example, do you have 2 factor authentication enabled on your yahoo.com email address? Now that you've just posted a public facing message stating that you're a member of a swat team with that email, I can see quite easily which swat team you're a member of.
Now if I were some russian or chinese hacker I would have a pretty sweet target to attack.
Seriously, you're law enforcement, get your cyber security hat on man!
Thanks for the info. I am just going to have to track down everybody and have them go they all the boards. I get the authentication thing. There’s nothing sensitive on there so I’m not really worried about a hack. We just use it to log who’s coming to training and callouts. We don’t keep anything sensitive on there. I appreciate all your help though
