Hi,
I'm using the Trello for Gmail Add-On. When you add a card, there's a Due Date field at the bottom of the sidebar and it's active (you can type), but whatever I enter, there's no due date set on the card when it's created.
I've tried entering dates or datetimes or even semantic values like "tonight" or "tomorrow", but to no avail.
Is this supposed to be working in some way?
Best regards,
Vic
Hey @Vic Mortelmans
Underneath that field, you'll see an example of the format the due date must be entered in. Were you not able to successfully add that due date with the following format?
If not, could you please share a screenshot of the date entered in that field before adding a card, and a shot of the card after creation without the due date please?
Hi Garrett,
that works. It's quite picky about the format, but it allows to omit the time, so it may be workable when using a mobile keyboard. Still there's some low hanging fruit here, to allow more intuitive date entry.
I think there's something wrong with timezones, when I enter 10:00 AM in the add-on, the due date in Trello is set to 4:00 PM. I'm in a UTC+1 time zone.
Best regards,
Vic

Hmm interesting @Vic Mortelmans
Would you mind reaching out to us at https://trello.com/contact so we can take a closer look at that time zone difference please?
In the meantime, I'll surface to our team your feedback on the date entry, and we'll work to improve its functionality.
Thanks!
