Dear Trello Community,

Currently, Trello allows setting a due date for checklist items, but there is no option to define start and end times. To improve organization and planning, I suggest adding a time range (start and end time) to each checklist item. This would allow users to visualize tasks in the Trello calendar and better synchronize with other scheduling tools.

Benefits of This Feature:

  1. Better Time Management: Allows users to allocate specific time slots for each checklist task.
  2. Improved Integration with External Calendars: Easier export to Google Calendar and Outlook, ensuring tasks are scheduled throughout the day.
  3. Enhanced Productivity Tracking: Users can plan tasks precisely, avoiding overload and optimizing their routines.
  4. Clearer Prioritization: Helps visualize scheduled activities and how much time each will take.

How It Could Work:

  • When adding a checklist item, users would have the option to set a start and end time.
  • This time range would appear in the Trello calendar view.
  • A notification option based on the scheduled time could be included.

This feature would greatly benefit users who rely on Trello for time management and productivity tracking. I appreciate your consideration and would be happy to test any beta version of this functionality.

Thank You.

I checked the feature requests for Trello and found this is already on the list.
