Export a checklist as Text? Separate a checklist into individual cards in one shot?

I often want a checklist as text in another document.  How do I export a list?  And how do I split up a whole checklist into a bunch of cards, instead of one at a time?

Those are both good questions because there isn't really a way to do either in a perfect way.

For getting the text, put your mouse just above the checklist title, drag down through the checklist to select all the text, copy and then paste.  That's the best you can do to get the text in the easiest way without a chrome extension or hitting the API.

For the convert to card - you can make a card Button using Butler that does this. Under Cascade there is an option to "convert all the times in the checklist "foo" into cards".  But you have to name the checklist there so I'm not sure if you could do it for *any* checklist without changing the rule.

From previous experience, I would like to add that if you have more than 1 checklist that you want to convert, creating a card button doesn’t work. If you create a card button to convert all the checklist items to cards, it will only convert the first checklist, and won’t act on any others.
