Hello, we purchased a Basic Plan and set up a board with the no issues. However, each time I send out an “Invite to workspace” link it arrives with a “whoops! This link is expired!” The member is answer these within sometimes a few minutes. So, it’s not expired. Please help! We are on a deadline to complete a project and need to get this to work!Resized_Screenshot_20251117_123639_Trello.jpeg

Hi @Jodi Ashcraft welcome to Atlassian community.

Please be informed, this issue happens in Trello at time, where new Workspace invitation links may be immediately flagged as invalid, despite the user attempting to accept them within minutes. Since you are on a tight deadline, you should use the most reliable method—direct invitation by email—and ask the member to manually create their account first.

I would say, the problem is often not the link expiration (Trello links generally do not expire quickly) but an issue where the link is generating a conflict in the system, or the user is not logged out of an existing Trello account when clicking the link.

Please try:

  • Method 1: Invite the member directly by email. This is less prone to link conflicts.
  • Method 2: Manual Account Creation (Bypasses Link)
