Employee created templates & automations after departure.

We have an employee retiring who has created a lot of templates and automations using their work account. When they retire we need to ensure we remove access but we don't want to lose the content they have created. Do we need to transition their creations to another employee? Is there a better way to create future automations & templates? Thank you!
