Hello community, I have a question, I am a new user and I want to use Trello in my work team, my question is, if I upgrade my account to premium, does each member of my team have to pay the monthly cost of the application?

Sakshi here from the Trello Support Team! I’m happy to help clarify how billing works for Trello’s paid plans (Premium and Standard).

On your paid plan, charges are based on the number of billable users in your Workspace. To make things easier, here’s a helpful guide that explains billing in detail, including who counts as a billable user: How billing works with Trello Premium and Standard | Trello | Atlassian Support.

Here’s a quick summary:

Billable members:

  • Users invited as Workspace members

  • Users invited to more than one board in the Workspace (multi-board guests)

Non-billable (free of charge):

  • Users invited to a single board in the Workspace
