Do public boards on Trello Free plan count toward the 10‑board limit?

Hi everyone,

On Trello’s Free plan, it’s clear that you’re limited to 10 open boards per Workspace. However, the official docs and pricing pages always just say “boards” or “open boards”—they never explicitly distinguish between public, private, or Workspace-visible boards.

I’m wondering: Does making a board public affect that 10‑board cap in any way?

• Do public boards consume one of those 10 slots?
• Is there any documentation or an official statement that confirms public boards count the same (or differently) than private ones?

All boards are counted. It doesn't matter if they are private, workspace or public.
