Do multiple cascade automations work?

I've been creating a complete workflow that assigns tasks to other teammates by adding and subtracting checklists, mirroring cards to other boards and lists and then when checklists are checked off the mirrored cards are deleted. 

I have run a ton of tests and I can get all of my automations working except the second "find card on board __" --> "Archive Card" automation. It runs the first find/archive (and everything prior) and then seems to break down.

The reason why this occurs is because each time you use the "Find a Card" option in Trello automation, the focus is switched to the found card.  

Then, the next "Find a Mirror Card" is looking for a mirror of the mirror card instead of a mirror of the main card

There are 2 ways round it.

1. Create separate automations for all of the different instances of the mirror cards
2. In the automation above, bring the focus back to the trigger card by inserting "find a card with link "{triggercardlink} step between the archive the card step and the find a mirror card in list "Linear Foot"  on board "Designer" step
