Disabling legacy 2FA

I registered with Trello in 2014 (before Atlassian bought them in 2016) and I believe enabled 2FA a couple years after that. I have since changed phones or devices and might have removed Trello from my app authenticator. I need the legacy 2FA removed from my Trello account. My email address is the same with both Atlassian and Trello. Is there a way I can have my 2FA removed so I can re-enable it?

I've started the process to remove 2FA from your account. You should soon receive an email notifying you that the recovery process has begun.After a 24-hour (security delay), you'll receive a second email with a link to recover your account.The recovery link in the second email will expire in 12 hours. Please click the link and enter your password to disable two-step verification.
