Disabling archive for a single Trello board

Kittitas Valley Healthcare July 6, 2020

We're a 3-person team with multiple boards - our manager would like one of the boards to remain visibly intact, meaning no cards are archived, even when tasks are completed.

Is there a way to either disable the archiving option for this board, or set up a message that warns us not to archive if we ever try to take that action on this board?

I realize there are other options, such as having archived cards go to a separate board, but our leader wants the original board to stay fully populated.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Kittitas Valley Healthcare

Welcome to the Community!

What a great question!

There is a way that even if the card is archived it won't be, let me show you the Butler rule:

So basically this rule just says that whenever a card is archived on the board, it needs to be unarchived!

I know it's really random, but this would be the rule that I would use if I was going to do the same thing!

Let me know if this is helpful!

Esme :)
