I have tried other applications like ActiveCollab and there is a function that I like and I don't know if it is in trello. It consists of having different boards per client but that in the same space you can see all the tasks of all the boards or all the tasks assigned to a specific user.
@dgutierrez
I just started down this path.
What I set up was a structure like this.
Client / Job Boars (they are created from a Template) In my case I used a custom field with Job#. You could just as easy use a "label" with Job # (grey is unseen on the card front).
I then created a "MASTER DB" board
Using UNITO sync Power UP I sync all the client to the "Master DB". Now you can sync other card data back to the board.
In our case we created "viewing Boards" for teams. Basically a TODO board. That grabs data from all the boards and brings them into this todo board.
Here's two links that I used to get my beak wet and get going. Depending on your complexity you will need Business Class Trello. You may need Team UNITO

@dgutierrez also mirroring what Zack said - Unito should be able to achieve what you want. It basically allows you to build workflows between your boards. I've worked with clients who have the same use-case, so if you need a hand with getting started, let me know!
