DON'T SCOLD ME! NEWBIE NEEDING GUIDANCE!

I am lost.  Plain and simple!  My head is about to explode.  Attempting to use Trello for personal and business use.

I have near-endless ideas, thoughts, tasks, items in my head that I need to drop in to one (1) "undefined" Trello bucket (for lack of a better word).  Then, items will eventually be transferred / converted in to  tasks > projects etc.

QUESTION:  As the above DOES NOT represent any one given task or project, can anyone provide suggestions as to how to capture the info?  Do I simply create a Miscellaneous Board and dump everything in there and then when I am ready to distribute, create the appropriate boards?

Aside from starting with a board, does Trello offer the ability to start with a task list only?  Is there a "power up" that someone can suggest that allows me to go about it that way
?

Again folks, any guidance is greatly appreciated.  I have gone through all that Trello has to offer but much of it geared for those that already have a game plan in place.

Thank you to all that are willing to offer assistance.

Cheers!

You won't be scolded here for asking for help. You have come to the right place.

You might like to work from a template like this one. There is a whole page of Trello boards to get inspiration from here.

Thank you for your kind understanding.  Often times, you find yourself questioning the legitimacy of other peoples questions and whether they took the time to read up on the products and/or services they were inquiring.  Yet, here I am in the same predicament.

Thank you for your understanding.  For the uneducated such as myself, Trello at first is truly a labyrinth.  I guess it is just a matter of finding the right entry way and establishing the right path to take, and adjusting it along the way.  Hopefully I will find the end....eventually!

Once again, thank you for your kind assistance and for providing such wealth of information.  Ciao for now!

Hi @Adriano Barberi yes you can start with a task list. You can create a card and open it. You would then create a checklist where you can dump all your ideas, thoughts, tasks. You can then convert an item on the checklist to it's own card if at that time it is easier to have a card for the individual action.

Here is an article with more details:

Let me know if this helps.
