Hi there. We are a small pool renovation company that uses Trello to manage our jobs and schedule. We have been looking for a way to be able to message our team without using personal text messages (gets hard to look back at previous discussions) as well as a time clock app of some kind, ideally something that also logs GPS location. Ideally if it can all be connected together in one place... Do these things exist for add ons or power ups for Trello or does anyone have suggestions on programs that would have this kind of functionality that they have experience with and could share? THANKS!
@Julie Sikorski google hangouts chat is a great new tool from Google that integrates directly with your existing G-Suite account for internal messaging. You can also use Slack. The integration between Slack and Trello is a bit simplistic and I don't think there's any Hangouts Chat integration with Trello, but both are suitable solutions if you just want to replace text messaging with a more professional solution.
If you want to do all messaging inside Trello, you can have everyone subscribe to a card and just post comments onto it. The only trouble is that if you don't have a system for mitigating the inherent "noisiness" of the rest of Trello's notifications these will get lost in the hubbub.
The best timesheeting integration with Trello is with TimeDoctor. All the other integrations I've seen use either power ups or chrome extensions which don't work on mobile devices. TimeDoctor's mobile app integrates directly with Trello so people can "punch in and punch out" on cards they're assigned to, it also has the option to enable GPS tracking.
TimeDoctor's desktop application is horrible, but their mobile app is really good.
@Julie Sikorski yes Slack and Trello integration is amazing, check out the link for some of the highlighted features:

Have a great day,
