Creating personal dashboard to see all my tasks in one place

Hi,

I have tasks on several boards and it is complicated to check all my tasks. 

Is there a way to build a personal dashboard that will contain in one place all my tasks and subtasks that I assign?

I am not sure that it should be a dashboard but the idea is one place to view and handle my tasks from multiple boards.

Zion, you can see all your tasks (i.e. cards and checklist items that are assigned to you) across all your boards by visiting http://trello.com/my/tasks

Building you own dashboard sounds like a great idea to me! This article is already very old but still provides great detail on how to build a dashboard: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/blog/2015/08/the-7-secrets-of-a-beautiful-agile-dashboard

The basic steps to build a dashboard from scratch would be to

1. Search for issues: (there are two different options for basic (filters) and advanced search (Jira Query Language (JQL)) 
2. Save your search as a Filter
3. Create a Dashboard
4. Add a Gadget: For a simple list with configurable columns the Filter Results one is a safe bet
5. Enjoy!

This is only a very basic description and might differ in naming depending on whether you use Cloud or DC but I hope it helps and you'll have some time to get into it.

I tried it out but couldn't reach the view my users need.

each user will see his tasks and subtasks from all the boards he is a member of.
