I use Trello but it is not used well

I have a management team of ten people

I want them on the management team but they also want there staff to be member and look at their tasks

I have upgraded to business and it is expensive for what we use it for

If we have 10 managers and say 10 staff the staff need to only look at and edit one or two trello boards

The management should have access to many

Do all users need t be on a business membership or can we have say five  in a team and then the others are just members but not paying?

It is really confusing and I find your explanations don't answer simple needs

Can someone help

If you add someone to the team they can see all team visible boards.

If you add someone directly to a board and not to the team, they can only see that one board. This is called a Guest (of the team).

If you add them to more than one board in the team then they would be a multi board Guest and you would pay for them. But if you only add them to one board, then they are a single board guest and you don’t pay for them.

So you can do what you want I believe by making a team, adding managers to team, pay for the team which now only has managers in it. But then you can add Staff to ONE of the boards directly in the team and they will only be single board guests and you won’t pay for them.
