Copy card no longer retain checked items

Recently an upgrade brings checked items can be brought forward to copied card. This feature helps my team a lot: in our team we use Trello to keep track our tasks, with each team member occupying one checklist in a card. After the team meeting, one person will mark the card complete, and copy existing card for next meeting. Those completed tasks are checked automatically and each team member will decide whether to remain or remove their checked items.

But today this feature is missing. I searched across community and realised some users rejected this feature. 

I can understand their points, but can we make this feature an option?

The more people demand it, the better the chances are for feature adjustments.
