If you're looking for an Automation rule to send you updates on a card, I'm afraid there isn't one universal action that you can add to a rule.
What I'd suggest instead is to start watching a card that would trigger Trello email notifications to be sent to your email address. Thus, you'll be receiving updates each time there's been an update on a card. You can also set up the notifications to arrive periodically, so you're not overwhelmed with emails.
