Change Team Members to Guests

We just started our free business trial.  We currently have 6 team members and 7 guests.

I will be changing 5 of the guests to team members which is easy enough.

Two of the team members only need guest status.  Is there a way to change them?  I tried removing them and then readding but then the only option seems to be Team Member or Observer.

Any ideas?

The easiest way to do this is just to remove them from the team.  Then if they happen to be invited to any board in the team, they will be a Team Guest (and if not, then you just need to add them individually to any Team Board directly).

A "Guest" is just someone that is on a team board but not a team member (so they can only see that board they are on, but not any of the other team boards).

Hi, can you please confirm this is the correct approach in Trello Premium?

We have some external contractors who were set up as team members but need to be guests. I need to change their setting with no disruption to the work.
