Is there a way to copy a card from one board to another and still have it updated on both boards?

Yes, it is even relatively simple to do. Check out this guide by Trello, under the first heading "Cards" you see what you are looking for: https://help.trello.com/article/802-copying-cards-lists-or-boards

Thanks, but it seems it only works with Team board and at the moment I am looking to sync personal boards
