Can't sign in with google on native mac app

When I try to sign in using "Log in with google" I can't, but get a message: 

"Couldn't sign you in
This browser or app may not be secure. Learn more

Try using a different browser. If you’re already using a supported browser, you can refresh your screen and try again to sign in."

Is this because I have 2FA turned on? Can this be fixed? Using the native mac app.

Try to log in using your email and password. If you don't have a password (this would be the case if you created the account using the Google Account login) try the following:

• Go to https://trello.com/login
• Click "Can't log in?"
• Enter your email address as the recovery email
• Click the link in the recovery email that is sent to you
• Create a password
• Now log in via the Trello app using your email and the password you just created

This isn't an answer, just more of the same issue.

Trying to log in to the Mac app on my new machine through the Google Account login, but receiving that same error. I have 2FA enabled. Mac OS 10.15.2.

I did manage a workaround, but it defeats the purpose of having google sign in. Through my account settings on Atlassian, I changed from Google sign in to a regular username/password, and from there, was able to sign in without issue to the Trello mac app.

There are other people (on windows) having this same issue. I'm guessing it's some disconnect between Trello and Google sign in. Unfortunate.
