Hello
Is it possible to set a delay on a rule so it doesn't execute too soon?
I have a system set up where various board rules are triggered to apply due dates, labels and checklists based on keywords in the card title after a card is created by email-to-board.
Then, I currently have a button rule to move the card from my card setup board to the list where I need them to be.
I would like this to be automated too but I don't want cards to move before they've been fully populated, so it would be useful to say "after 5 minutes" move the card to myList on myBoard".
Or is there a better way to achieve that?
Many thanks for any pointers on this.
Hello and welcome to the Community @Ali Rex
The trick is to split the logic into two rules. Have your first rule handle the initial setup like labels and checklists and then set a due date for 5 minutes in the future. You then set up a separate Due Date command that triggers the moment the card is due. This second rule will handle the move to your main board and clear the due date to keep things tidy.
Just keep in mind tight scope and free Tier Limits.
I think I see what you're saying and will give that a try.
Thanks very much for the help!

I've played around and there is a flaw in my plan. By setting the delay due date I can't then set the due date to be the date passed in the card title when the delay due date is reached.
However, further testing shows that the labels, checklist and due date that I want on the cards seem to be applied in the order I set the rules up in and the card isn't moved until then, so in theory it should be ok.
